St. Samlet's Church, Llansamlet


The Sunday morning service starts at 10.30am and lasts approximately one hour. There is a large congregation of all ages and everyone is most welcome to attend. After the service there is tea or coffee available in the hall which provides an opportunity to get to know each other.

There is also a service on Wednesday morning at 10.30am which is followed by refreshments in the hall. All are most welcome.


The Morning Sunday school’s nativity play

Every Sunday morning during the 10.15 service, children of primary school age and below are welcome to take part in a wide range of activities with C.R.B. checked teachers in the hall at the back of church. The children’s’ parents are welcome to stay with them or to enjoy the morning service in the church.

On Sunday afternoon there is a Sunday School that meets in the church at 2.30pm. After an act of worship, the children are divided into classes according to their age and take part in activities until they have a closing prayer and depart at 3.40pm.



There is a large choir which takes part in the Sunday Services and when requested sings at weddings and funerals. It also takes part on occasions like the Christmas Carol Service. There is an experienced Choir Mistress and singers of all ages and all levels of experience are welcome.

The choir practise every Monday night at 7.00pm


An highly dedicated group of servers assist at the altar on Sunday mornings and  anyone wishing to train is most welcome.


The church hall can be hired for children’s birthday parties, christening parties etc subject to availability, contact the office for details
